More About Space Ranger Fred
This is a charming tale about a young boy who dreams of going into space--and does so!
The story would suit five to eight year olds, perhaps more boys than girls (although I would have liked this story when I was a seven year old girl). The writer has pitched the language at the right level without being patronising.
I particularly liked the idea that the hero of the story saved the day by being able to tie shoelaces!
